Transaction Journal 3 (TJ-3)

TJ-3 builds on the cababilities of our entry level product to deliver a versatile corporate cheque and remittance processing system which can be:

       • scaled (from one to many users)
       • networked (wide area or LAN)
       • tailored to consolidate payment data

Payment automation

TJ-3 automatically stores an image and captures printed and written information from cheques, vouchers, postal orders, BGCs and other credits using a predesignated workflow that provides configurable data input, verification, balancing and approvals processing. Image capture can take place from the front and rear of items.  Security endorsement printing can be programmed to take place during the scanning process.

For travellers cheques and voucher processing workflows for all major world currencies can be established.  This will include autorecognition of associated code lines and values based on international standards.

The solution is configured to precise corporate needs using our unique TJClient interface. The Transaction Finder utility provides even more detailed search and scrutiny functionality. Transaction Manager coordinates data and images to provide simultaneous access, processing and reporting.

Data accuracy & enrichment

TJ-3 will synchronise and interpret data received via a number of advanced recognition technologies. It interprets information received via printed MICR (magnetic image character recognition), optical character recognition technology (OCR) and intelligent character recognition (ICR-LAR), resulting in an exceptionally high degree of accuracy for both printed and handwritten text. Where additional data is required which is not present on processed items, this can be extracted from any number of different sources to completely automate the identification and allocation of payments against the correct bank account or client account designation. 

TJ-3 capabilities

These include all of the basic functions of TJ-2, but has capabilities to manage more complex daily financial processes and a wide range of workflows. Where a combination of information capture, export or enrichment is required, TJ-3 offers the necessary flexibility through the following features:
